Do banks finance?
Yes, we know the banks that will finance our vehicles and that accept our branded titles. After 30 years of assisting and providing financing to customers, we have got it down to a few factors. Financing is based on your credit, your current financial situation, and your location. Once these are factored in , we will recommend what bank would be best for you to apply for financing.
Can I register the car and put Insurance on the car?
Yes. After the vehicle has passed the state insurance inspection, which we do before advertising, it is insurable and registerable just like any other car.
Are your prices negotiable?
Our prices are not negotiable, we have a strict no-haggle price policy. We advertise our vehicles exceptionally low to sell all over the country and the world at well below market value.
Why do you only buy cars from Insurance companies in the salvage industry?
We get a higher quality product because these cars were taken from their owners unexpectantly which is much better than a car that someone is selling because they want to get rid of it. We stay away from rentals, repos, and dealer actions because there tends to be more risk in that environment.
Can you provide a Carfax?
We do not provide Carfax reports. Carfax reports are mostly based on information bought from the Motor Vehicle Departments without real investigations. We are more concerned about getting the in-depth history and facts behind each vehicle we buy. We believe in paint meters. We visually inspect the vehicle for care, maintenance, and quality.
What warranty do I get from Imports Unlimited?
If the vehicle is a non-damaged flood recovery, then the warranty for flood related issues is covered for the life of the car. All vehicles 7 years and newer come with a 60-day or 3,000 miles bumper to bumper warranty. We also offer extended warranties, please call for details.
Are extended warranties available?
Yes, we do have extended warranties through our highly reputable partner, Gold Standard Automotive, that are available. Please call for details to determine price and which warranty best fits your needs.
Can I have the vehicle transported?
Yes, we have set up transportation for our customers all over the country very inexpensively using our Central Dispatch system.
Can I have an independent inspection?
Of course, we are very thorough in our inspection before advertising, but third-party inspections are more than welcome. A second set of eyes will ensure that we have been thorough with the vehicle ourselves and reassure our customers that they are getting a quality product.
Do I have to worry about rust?
No, we mainly buy vehicles from the south or Inland rainstorms, Unlike New England, they do not need to salt or sand the roads so there is truly little if any rust.
What happens when I go to sell it?
It is sellable now like any other car. However, you will need to sell it at a price lower than the market value. The amount of money you save today subtracted from the street value of the vehicle 5 years from now is substantial. The longer you keep the vehicle, the easier it is to sell.
Are there additional fees?
There is a dealer conveyance fee. For in-state customers, it is $399, and for out-of-state customers, it is $374. Taxes and registration fees are due at the time of sale for in-state registration. If it is for out of state, you will be responsible for paying the fees to the desired state of registration.
