Imports Unlimited was Incorporated in February 1985. Mike Caro is the sole owner and has been working on cars since he was 15 years old.

During the 70's Mike was trained at Sikorsky Aircraft in Helicopter overhaul and repair. In 1980 Mike started a British sport car shop and then specialized in SAAB repair.

Due to expansion needs Mike's Shop was moved to Wallingford in 1989 to a 15000 Sq foot location. Imports Unlimited quickly out grew the location and moved to the old Grand Light showroom on corner of Cedar St. and Route 5 in Wallingford for better exsposure.

In 1998 Imports Unlimited purchased and moved to it's current location (the old Central Motors Building). The new location allowed for a inside showroom with a larger outside area to display thier large car inventory.
